The Bronze Institute:

Where Advocacy Meets Action

The Bronze Institute is an immersive leadership and advocacy program designed for young changemakers (ages 17-25) who are ready to make a difference. Over three months, participants engage in intensive training, mentorship, and real-world advocacy experience, equipping them to drive lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

What to Expect

Through expert-led workshops, hands-on organizing, and direct mentorship—rooted in case studies, history-informed practices, and research-based strategies—participants will:

  • Develop leadership skills informed by proven models and real-world examples of successful social change efforts

  • Gain practical advocacy experience by engaging in community projects, applying lessons from past movements and contemporary research

  • Build strong networks with mentors, peers, and movement leaders, leveraging collective knowledge and shared experiences

  • Learn to navigate policy, organizing, and media strategy using time-tested methods, with insights from historical precedents and data-driven best practices

We seek passionate, driven young leaders committed to equity, justice, and transformative leadership. No prior advocacy experience is required—just dedication, curiosity, and a commitment to making an impact.

How to Apply

Applications open now. The selection process includes:

  1. Written Application & Fee: Submit a written application along with a $25 application fee. Fee waivers are available for applicants with financial need.

  2. Proposal for Social Change: Submit a brief proposal identifying a social issue you are passionate about and outlining your approach to addressing it. Detailed instructions are provided in the application.

  3. Virtual Interview: Engage in a virtual interview with program mentors to discuss your vision, leadership potential, and commitment to advocacy.
